Time After Island Time Radio presents Special Guest Carol Shaughnessy

We welcome you to the second half of our interview with Key West writer and publicist Carol Shaughnessy. Carol Shaughnessy has dedicated her life to the promotion of her home, Key West. For the first three years of it's existence, Shaughnessy was the editor of The Coconut Telegraph, Jimmy Buffett's publication/catalogue which has been published for almost 25 years. She also served as Buffett's fan relations person, where she answered all of Buffett's correspondence. Carol Shaughnessy was also engaged to Key West legend Phil Clark, the man who inspired Jimmy Buffett's celebrated song "A Pirate Looks at Forty." With Lorian Hemingway, Carol Shaughnessy is co-director of the Lorian Hemingway Short Story Competition. Carol Shaughnessy continues to spread the fascinating stories of Key West and as a publicist she promotes the charm, wonder, people and incredible history of what makes Key West one of the most enchanting places on earth.
